Question 1

Is my image uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

No. Resizing happens locally in your browser.

Question 2

What does maintain aspect ratio do?

Accepted Answer

It locks the width-to-height proportion, so entering a width automatically sets the matching height and the image is never stretched.

Question 3

Fit vs crop — what is the difference?

Accepted Answer

Fit keeps the whole image inside the target size with padding; crop fills the target size and trims the edges.

Question 4

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free with no sign-up.

Question 5

Can I resize an image without cropping it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Fit — it keeps the whole image inside the target size with padding. Crop fills the target size and trims the edges instead.
